Three-day Course Data Protection Officer
The privacy regulations are changing. The Reporting duty for data leaks and the extension of the power to impose fines has been in operation since January 2016. And sinds May 2018 the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is in operation. Only one privacy law now applies throughout the EU. This has major consequences for many organisations. Organisations must respond to this, for example by appointing (mandatory) someone who is charged with tasks in this area: the Data Protection Officer.
Hans de Jong (Data Protection Official FPC Dr. S. Van Mesdag Clinic; “The course ‘Data Protection Officer’ given by Qbit Security Academy I highly recommend. I find the combination of theory and practice a pleasant one.”
The course offers a practical basis for addressing privacy issues. Privacy is under pressure and it is important that people have confidence in an organization that records their personal data. With the arrival of the internet, social media, various apps and much more, the technical possibilities to collect and distribute personal data are enormous. Which measures should you take and how do you keep things workable?
The course is for employees who are charged with advising, supervising or implementing laws and regulations: the GDPR. For example; information advisers, ICT managers, security officers, privacy officers, corporate controllers, internal auditors, policy advisers and lawyers. The course is ideal for people who want to prepare for or further qualify in the position of Data Protection Officer.
